"Where are we going mommy?" Eddie asks.
"To the science center," I say.
"Yay I love that,"

James couldn't have pick another place besides that. The science center has a building beside it that has tons of games, so Eddie will be entertained.
I drove over the bridge as I pass Heniz field and turn into the parking lot of the science center.
turning the wheel, I park in a parking place.
"Where is James?" Eddie asks as I hear him unbuckling.
"Be patient Eddie,"
I turn the car off as I grab my cell phone getting out of the car.
Eddie opens the door and jumps on out as he goes running for the front door.
"Edward James," I say as I shut the door.
I then see James right behind Eddie as he picks him up.
"Mommy help," Eddie says.
"It's just me Eddie," James says as I walk up to them.
"Hey Nealer," Eddie says as James turns him as Eddie wraps his arms around him.
"Hey Eddie, ready for a day full a fun?" James asks as he places Eddie down.
"Yes,"
Eddie grabs for James's hand as they walk in together as I walk behind them.
I pray to the lord that James is Eddie's father, he is so good with him.
"I already paid," James says as he takes out two bands, placing one on Eddie's wrist then the other on mine.
"Mommy we going to sports place?" eddie asks.
"That's last," James says.
For some reason Eddie grabs my hand and grabs James's hand with his other hand.
I look over at James as he's mouth "He wants us together,"
I smile and giggle.
We walk around the entire science center, doing everythin they had to offer. Eddie was too young to go in the submarine which is ok. All the activites James did with Eddie as I took pictures with my phone.
"Sportsworld mommy?" Eddie asks as he runs over to me after the space place.
"Yep, we got to walk across the street," I say as he grabs onto my hand.
"Come on James,"
"You and mommy walk out first,"
We walk out of the building as we head off the sidewalk.
James then grabs Eddie's other hand as we walk through the parking lot then stopped at the street.
"Look both ways and say if it's safe or not," I say as I watch him look both ways.
"Clear mommy,"
We then walk together across the street and as I get on the sidewalk Eddie let's go of my hands.
"Can I go?"
"What you going first?"
"Baseball,"
"Go by stay at the baseball,"
He goes running into the building.
"He has alot of energy," James says.
"Oh yeah he does, he will take a nap once he gets to Lauren's,"
"I hope so,"
"I think Eddie likes you James,"
He opens the door for me.
"Thank you,"
I walk in as he walks in behind me.
"I'm just a famous guy right now,"
"True, I hope he doesn't freak out once he finds out your his dad,"
"Want to go to the health department today?"
"You sure?"
"Yes, after this we will go down there and get tested. Shouldn't take long by what I read,"
"Alright, Eddie hold the bat up," I say as i walk over and helped him with the bat.
"Swing," James says as me and Eddie both swing as he hit it.
"Yes,"
"Can I go play golf?" Eddie asks.
"Yeah," I say.
"I'll play too," James says as I watch them follow each other as I place the bat down.
"Your husband and son are cute," A lady says.
"Thank you but I'm not married," I say.
"Well they are cute together, are the father and son?"
"I sure hope so,"
"Go be with them,"
I walk over to the golf place as Eddie has a putter in his hands as James is behind him helping him shoot it.
I just watch James helping Eddie which makes me happy. James is going to be a great dad, not too sure if Sid would have been. Glad in my past that we didn't start dating.
"Mommy I got a high score,"
I look in and seen his intitals EMJ.
"Go play in the balls,"
Eddie just runs up front to the ball pit.
"He has the same energy as me," James says.
"Ha, a lady came to me and told me my husband and son where cute," I say.
"Husband?"
"Yeah, I corrected her,"
"I could be your husband,"
"Ha James,"
Me and James just talk as we watch Eddie play and the more he played he got tired.
"Mommy I'm tired," Eddie says as he get out and walks over to me.
"We got one stop before Aunt Lauren's," I say as I pick him up.
"Where?"
"Got to go down to the health department for something,"
"Ok,"
We walk out of the sports world.
"Can I ride with you?" James asks.
"Sure, want to drive too?" I ask.
"Nah,"
We walk across the street and back over to the parking lot.
I walk to my car as I open the back door.
Putting a sleepy Eddie into the car, I strap and buckle him in as I close the door.
I walk over to the drivers side as I get in and begin the car up.
"You have a nice car," James says as I pull out of the parking lot and down the road.
I then cross the bridge into the city.
"Thanks you have a good one too,"
"Thanks, so what if he is mine?"
"James if he's yours you have to be a dad to him and dont like him call you Nealer or James anymore,"
"What if I want him for a off weekend?"
"I will be with you for the first couple of weekends. I know you would never hurt him, its just me and my past,"
"Kim, I want to get to know you. I want to make you happy as well as Eddie if he was my kid or not,"
"Aww James, thats too sweet,"
He wants to be with me for me?
I turn and park in the parking lot of the health department.
"Eddie sweetie nap is over," I say.
"Mommy I sleepy though," Eddie says.
"We got to do this one thing then to Aunt Lauren's,"
I get out of the car as James does the same.
"I got him," James says as I walk over to the other side of the car as James has Eddie on his shoulders.
"Mommy after this can we get food?" Eddie asks as James moves Eddie to in his arms.
"Yep," I say as I grab the open the door.
I read the thing as it says DNA
I open the left door as James walks in.
Walking in behind them we walk down the hall until it says DNA.
I pushed the door open for James as I follow.
I head over to the desk.
"May I help you?" A lady asks.
"Can we get a DNA test please?" I ask.
"Ok, its 5 dollars,"
"I got it," James says as I turn to see him walking up.
Eddie is on the floor playing with a ball.
"Thank you sir, whats the name you want to use?"
"Neal," James says.
"Ok have a seat please,"
I turn around as I walk over to where Eddie is as I sit in a seat.
"Mommy can you hand me that toy on the table please?" Eddie asks.
Since he was tired, I grab the toy and hand it to him.
"Thank you mommy," Eddie says as he goes back to playing.
"James if he's yours do you want his last name changed?" I ask softly.
"If that wouldn't be a problem, yes. If so then no, James says.
"I'm going too, I'm going to take out his middle name and place it with James then Neal, so Edward James Neal,"
"You can keep his middle name,"
"I want my last name as his middle name,"
"Alright, that sounds good,"
James grabs for my hand as I give it to him as I look over to him.
The same eyes I looked into forever ago. They haven't changed but James sure has.
"The party of Neal,"
"That's us," James says as me and him got up as Eddie gets up as well.
I hold his hand as we walk back into a room.
"So we need to test you two?" a nurse as she points to James and Eddie.
"Yes," I say.
"Who wants to go first?"
"Mommy what is she gonna do to me?"
"I'm just going to use this inside your mouth and move it around," she says as she hold a cotton swab in her hands.
"I'll do it with you," James says as he gets onto the chair as I place Eddie in his lap.
"No needles?" Eddie asks.
"No needles sweetie,"
I watch as she took the swabs and did both James and Eddie's mouths.
"all done, the results take about 5 minutes, they usually would take 5 days," she says.
"Thank you," I say as Eddie gets off the couch and walks over to me.
I pick him up as the three of us walk out of the room and back down the hall to the waiting room.
Taking a seat with Eddie on my lap, I watch as he falls back asleep.
"He's tired," James says.
"Yeah he is, he will sleep once we get to Lauren's. After her I'll take you back to get your car,"
"Nah don't worry about it, I'm yours for the day.
We just sit there waiting on the results as a nurse walks out.
"Here you go," she says as he hands James the card.
He flips it around.
We read it and understanding my background from school, I read it in languages I used in school.
"James your....
