"Boys let get out of here and head out onto the road," The coach says as I see players getting up and heading for the door as me and James follow RJ Umberger out of the locker room.
James grabs my hand as he interlocks our fingers together as we walk to the bus.
Once we reach the bus, James lets go of my hand as I head up onto the bus first as I walk to the middle of the bus where there were two seats side by side together.
Sitting down, I watch as James sits down next to me and grabs my hand once again.
"You two need to stop with that,"
I move my head up and Ryan is right there.
"Shut up Ry, you do the same thing with Lauren and don't lie," I say in my defense.
"I do not," Ryan says as I hear Lauren slapping him as I smile facing forward.
"Let's do roll call," Mr. K says as he starts to go over the roster and myself with Lauren.

"Is anyone picking you up at the airport?" James asks a I relized I forgot to ask my dad too.

"Hey dad it's Kim, sorry to call you so late but can you pick me and Lauren up at the airport soon?" I ask.

"I have to be, even though you havent been a dad all of Eddie's life, you make a pretty good daddy," I say.

I think James is getting this daddy stuff down.
"Eddie is going to be so upset to see me home tomorrow and not you,"
"I know, just call my cell and let me talk to him. I know we have practice very late in the afternoon tomorrow before the game,"

We just talk until I look out at the window as the bus stops by the runway of the Edmonton International Airport.
I knew this is mine and Lauren's stop as I stand up as well as James, Ryan and Lauren.
"Go first James," Ryan says as I follow James to the front of the bus.
"You two get back on here when they get on the bus," Mr. K says.
"Yes sir," James says as we head down the stairs as I follow him.
"I'm going to miss you," James says as he grabs my hand as we head to the airplane that was sitting by the runway.
"You know I will too, Saturday won't be here sooner," I say as I hear Lauren and Ryan talking behind me.
"It will be here before you know it, I hear Ryan telling Lauren he will come straight to the house,"
"He's more then welcomed too, I will be the one picking you up on Saturday with my SUV,"
"Alright I'll look for you, you know I don't go through airport right?"

I smile as we arrive to the stairs leading up to the airplane.
Turning around, I wrap my arms around James's neck as I hug him so tight like I never had before.
"I love you," James says as he meets me for a kiss.
"I love you too, get those Flames tomorrow, I'll be watching," I say as I kiss him again.
"I'll make sure I score you a goal,"

I cry a little as I turn around walking into the small airplane as we find a window seat.
James is by the bus as I see him waving his hands like crazy, like he was 21 again.
"He is drunk," Lauren says as I begin to laugh.
"He isn't drunk just crazy," I say.

"Hey I wouldn't want Ryan even if we were not related, he's crazy within himself,"
I laugh as Lauren turns around and begins play fighting me, me and her both were happy with my lifes. We bot haven't been truely happy in a long time.
"Ladies we are about to take off, please buckle up," The Captain said from the front of the plane.
I place my seatbelt on as I await for the plane to take off into the air and to Columbus.
I look out the window just as the plane begins down the runway and into the night sky.
"So what are you exactelly doing tomorrow?" Lauren asks as the plane reaches the right height in the sky.
"I got to get Eddie enrolled into school for April and May. Not too sure what else I have to do tomorrow," I say.
"How about we go shopping and explore the city? We haven't been here in two years," Lauren says.
It would keep my mind off James.
"Should we take Eddie?" I ask.
"Yeah, maybe we can stop at that park not too far from your parents,"
"Good idea, it would keep my mind off James,"
"That was the plan, it would keep mine off of Ryan too,"

I pull out my cell phone as I click on the Penguins app.

For the rest of the flight we just talk until we landed in Columbus.
"Does you family know we are coming in tonight?" Lauren asks as we get up and head out of the airplane.
"Shit I got to call dad, I told him I would call him what time I'll be in," I say as we step onto the ground as I dial my dad's cell phone.
"Hey, have you landed yet?" Dad asks as me and Lauren were rushed into the Columbus International Airport.
"Yes we are here, heading for baggage claim,"

I hang up as we get on the elscuators to go down to baggage claim.
"We got to wait for my dad," I say as we walk off and stand to the side.
"There he is," Lauren says as I see my dad walking up.
"Have a good flight?" Dad asks as he hugs both me and Lauren.
"Yep, ready to go home, what time is it?" Lauren asks.
"It's 4:30 in the morning," dad says as we all head out of the airport and head for the airport.
"I'm sleeping in, tell mom," I say as I see my dad's car and hop into the front seat.
"I'm sure she wouldn't mind," Dad says as he gets into the car.
I hear a back door closing as my dad starts up his car.
"Home here we come," Dad says as I watch as he backs out and takes off for home.
The whole ride home was slient as dad knew both me and Lauren were tired from the flight and the game.
I see my car is in parked in the road as dad pulls into the driveway behind my mom's car.
James's car is on the other side of my mom's car.
"Why does my car get in the road?" I ask as dad shuts off his car.
"So I could get out to come get you," Dad says.
I get out of the car as I head for the guest house.
"Good night," I say as I use the key, unlocking the door walking in.
Just as I do, my cell phone begins to ring as I close the door.
Grabbing my phone i open it.
