Eddie pulls me around the Consol Energy Center as we stopped at Pens Gear.
"Can I get a shirt?" Eddie asks.
"Go ahead, go get one," I say as I walk in behind him
"I want this,"
He has a Sidney Crosby winter clasic navy blue jersey in his hand.
"Alright, let's make sure you picked out the right size,"
He hands me the jersey as I look inside.
"Yep this is your size, want anything else? No more jerseys," I say as he walks around the store.
I walk over to the women clothes as I pick out a pink Pittsburgh Penguins shirt.
Placing it on top, I felt a tug on my pants.
I turn around to see Eddie standing there with a James Neal shirt in his hand.
"You sure you want this?" I ask as he gives me the shirt.
"Yes mommy,"
"Let's go checkout,"
I grab his hand as we make our way up to the checkout countier.
"Find everything ok?" the cashier asks.
"Yes we did thank you," I say.
She rings up everything as Eddie is becoming jumpy.
"Edward James be patient," I say.
"thank you and enjoy the game," She says.
I let go of Eddie as I grab the bag.
"thanks," I say as I see Eddie running off.
"Edward!!!" I scream as I follow running after him.
James Point of view
"I'll be back. Just got to make sure Dana sharpen my blades," I say as I walk out of the locker room to see a child running down the hall.
"Hey bud you need to slow down here," I say and he just kept running and I knew he was going to trip over the cables if he didn't stop
I run over just as he tripped over the cable and I caught him before he hit the ground.
"You ok? You could have gotten hurt?" I say.
"I'm scared, I ran off from my mommy," he says as he begins to cry
"It's ok little guy. Let's go find your mommy? Whats your name?" I ask as we walk out of the area.
"I'm Eddie, nice to meet you James,"
That made me smile that he knows my name.
Kimberly' Point of view
"Eddie where are you," I say as I go running around the whole arena trying to find him.
Just as I turn the corner I see Eddie in the arms of James Neal by the Pens Gear store.
"Eddie!!" I exclaim as I run over to were they are.
"mommy," Eddie says as James sets him down as he runs over to me.
I pick him up into my arms and hug him.
"Don't run away from mommy again," I say.
I lift my head up to see James walking over to us.
"This is your son?" James asks.
"Yes and thank you so much for finding him," I say.
"Well he found me, he was running by the locker room area and I thought he was a teammates kid til he said I ran away from my mommy,"
"Eddie James. Thank you again James,"
"No problem, hey would you and Eddie like to come in the locker room so you can meet the players?"
I knew I couldn't pass that up for the sake of Eddie.
"Sure, we will be back here after the game and crowd has calmed down,"
"Alright, see you guys later,"
He heads back to where he came from.
"As long as you behave for the rest of the night you can meet the Penguins. If you get in trouble we go home, ok?" I ask.
"Yes mommy," Eddie says as I place him down and grabbed his hand.
We headed for the main arena so we can find our seats for the game.
"This is big," Eddie says as we walk into the arena.
"Yes it is, let's go find our glass seats," I say as we walk around the bottom part til we found our seats were on the penguins side, so we will get to see them practice before the game.
"Mommy are you going to take pictures?"
"Yep for your first game,"
Then the players begin to hop onto the ice.
"Mommy they are going to play,"
"No they are practicing a little before hand,"
I begin taking pictures of the practice as Eddie was yelling each players nickname as the skated by putting there glove up on the glass for him. I tried to capture that for him.
I then seen Sidney Crosby over with Pascal Dupuis as I read his lips.
"You see that girl over there with the camera? I know her from somewhere but dont know where from,"
Then I sit down as I place the camera on my lap as the Penguins leave.
"Game over?" Eddie asks as he sits next to me.
"It hasn't began yet silly," I say as the lights dim.
"You ready for some Penguins hockey??"
Eddie yelled yes a loud as he could as I did too.
I look to see that the lightning were coming out onto the ice.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, your Pittsburgh Penguins!!!,"
The players hop onto the ice as Eddie got on the floor jumping up and down as the lights come back on.
The players who were in the middle were Malkin's line, who has James Neal and Chris Kunitz.
"Mommy, Geno is starting with Nealer and Kunie," Eddie says.
"I see that," I say.
Eddie is on cloud nine as happy as he can be as the game begun.
Every goal at the Pens scored in the 60 minute game, Eddie stood up screaming for whoever scored.
Then the final buzzer goes off.
"They won mommy," Eddie says as he claps he's hands together.
"Yes they did," I say as I clap my hands as people begin to leave the area.
"Can we leave now mommy?" Eddie asks as he jumps up and down.
"Not yet sweetie," I say.
He just jumps up and down until I only seen a few people left.
"Give mommy your hand," I say as I stand up.
He grabs my hand as we make our way up the stairs and out of the arena as we walk over to the Pens Gear store.
"I can't wait to meet them!!" Eddie says.
"I know sweetie," I say
I wasn't excited too since I would see Sidney Crosby.
We arrive to the Pens Gear store as I hold Eddie's hand in mine.
"Mommy, let me go. I want to run around," Eddie says.
"Edward Michael James, you did that earlier and almost fell. No," I say as I see no crowd and then see James walking out of the door heading over to us.
"James!!!" Eddie screams as he walks over.
"Thought I forgot about you?" James asks.
"No sir," Eddie says.
"Ready to head on back? The guys are waiting to meet you Eddie," James says.
"Yay!!!" Eddie says as we follow James into the hallway then into the locker room.
"Everyone this is Eddie," James says to the entire locker room.
I let Eddie's hand go are he runs around naming all the players for me.
"Where is Sidney?" James asks.
"Getting dressed," Tanner Glass says.
"Ahh,"
I walk into the locker room and seen flower.
"Hey flower," I say as I stop in front of him.
"Do I? Hey Kimberly. You enjoy the game?" Marc says as he stands up in his suit.
"Yes I did. Got some good shots of you in the net," I say.
"Good, did your son enjoy then or is that another boy?"
"That's my son and yes he did. If you heard yelling loud it was him,"
"I did hear him a few times out there,"
"He's a diehard pens fan,"
"Was he always?"
"Only team he has known. We moved from my home to here when he was little. I used to live in Pittsburgh until I was pregnant. Needed help,"
"Understandable. It was nice talking to you but I need to leave. See you soon,"
He walks away as I see Eddie talking with Beau Bennett and Tyler Kennedy.
He walks into the room as he walks over to were Eddie was.
"Sidney!!!"
I watch as Eddie gives him a hug and begins to talk to him.
"He loves Sidney,"
Turning I seen James besides me.
"that is his favorite granted he loves all of you guys," I say.
"I'm going to get dressed, be back,"
Eddie then rushed over to me.
"Mommy come meet Sidney," Eddie says as he pulls me over to Sidney.
"This is my mommy," Eddie says.
"Hi Sidney," I say.
"Do I know you from somewhere?" Sidney asks.
"From this morning? you were in my class,"
"Somwhere else, what is your first name?"
"Kimberly, Kimberly James,"
"Kimberly? Ohh Kimberly. I didnt regonize you. How you been?"
"I work and have my son, Eddie,"
"How old is he?"
"He's 5,"
"Didn't we hook up that long ago?"
"Sidney, have a good night and be nice to Eddie,"
I walk away from him as I couldn't talk to him.
As the guys leave, one by one signed Eddie's Crosby shirt.
I know what shirt he is wearing tomorrow.
When Sidney comes up to sign the shirt, he also writes down his number, on my hand.
I'm not calling him at all.
"Guess we are the last ones," James says.
"That we are," I say.
James took the marker from my hand as he signs Eddie's shirt.
"There the final signture," James says as I place the shirt in the bag.
"Thank you James, thank you mommy," Eddie says as he goes around hugging James then me.
"No problem, oh here Kim an autograph for you from me,"
I took it from James's hand and placed it in my bag.
Eddie then yawns.
"Well we better leave," I say.
James then turns me around as he kisses me.
"Sorry I couldn't stop thinking of kissing you," James says.
I think started thinking of a man I met before we moved to Columbus.
"It's alright James. We will see you later," I say as we walk out of the locker room.
"Mommy I'm tired," Eddie says as I pick him up and carrying him outside CEC.
When I did I met the guys I'm thinking of. He kisses his like James but a little different.
I walk across the street and over to my car as Ricky hands me my keys.
Opening the door, I place a sleepy Eddie into the car as I strap him in.
Closing the door I place the bag in the car then me.

I couldn;t stop thinking of kissing her and I barely know the woman but I feel connected to her somehow.
